Charcuterie Workshop Instructor (Bilingual) Description

Job Overview:

Bite by Bite & Co. Workshops are held in wineries, breweries, and restaurants in and around Richmond, Virginia. Workshops are 2 hours long and include a 1 hour charcuterie tasting and 1 hour instructional “build a board” for attendees to wrap up and take home with them. Training will be provided.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Bite by Bite & Co. brand during Charcuterie Workshops at wineries, breweries, and restaurants in and around Richmond, Virginia (3-4 workshops monthly)

  • Maintain communications with venue contact to ensure all details are clearly communicated

  • Set up for Charcuterie Workshops ~1 hour set up time

  • Breakdown/clean up after Charcuterie Workshops ~30 mins - 1 hour 

  • Lead charcuterie tasting and “build a board” portions of the workshops, guiding and engaging with attendees while answering any questions and maintaining the integrity of the Charcuterie Workshop


 

What we're looking for:

Must be fluent in English and Spanish

Enjoy and be comfortable with public speaking, ideally has presentation experience

Always maintain a professional appearance in dress and manner

Bite by Bite & Co. holds high level hygiene and grooming standards that must be maintained

Excellent organization and timeliness

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to workshops

Demonstrates patience 

Must have a Food Handlers License or be willing to obtain one

Part-Time Contractor Position

$15 an hour + base fee for each workshop

3-4 workshops monthly

 

Application Process:

2 rounds of phone or Zoom interviews

Must have attended or plan to attend a Bite by Bite & Co. Workshop

Training and onboarding (1 month probationary period)
